Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m [Owner’s Name], the woman behind Tru Hydroponics. I’ve always loved watching things grow—from simple kitchen herbs to full, leafy greens. What started as a few buckets and a curious spirit has grown into a full-blown hydroponic garden and store, right here in Chesapeake.

I didn’t begin with fancy tools or a textbook—just trial, error, and a lot of love. Over the years, I’ve learned what works, what doesn’t, and how to help others skip the overwhelm and just enjoy the beauty of growing their own food.

For me, hydroponics isn’t just about plants—it’s about possibility. It’s about showing people they can grow something from scratch, even if they’ve never planted a seed before. It’s about fresh, healthy food and the simple joy of watching something thrive.

If you’re curious, I’d love to show you what I’ve learned.

I Grow Bell Peppers

Bright, crunchy, and full of flavor—bell peppers were one of the first things I mastered. They thrive in my system, and I never run out of uses for them in the kitchen.

I Grow Leafy Greens

Lettuce, spinach, kale—they grow fast and fresh, and they’re perfect for daily meals. Watching them flourish makes me feel like I’m doing something right.

I Grow Tomatoes

These are the heart of my setup. There’s nothing like picking a ripe tomato, still warm from the light, and slicing it up for a fresh snack or salad.

I Grow Herbs

I love growing herbs like basil, mint, and thyme. They fill the air with such a fresh scent and add so much flavor to my food—I never have to buy herbs from the store.

I Grow Strawberries

Sweet and surprising, strawberries are always a crowd-pleaser. People don’t expect them to grow this well indoors, but they do—with the right setup, anything’s possible.

My Expertise

I’ve spent years getting my hands dirty—literally. From trial-and-error grows to building systems that actually work, everything I teach and stock in my store comes from real experience. I didn’t start out as a pro, but I stuck with it, learned, and grew.

Today, I help others do the same—whether you’re a first-timer or just need help troubleshooting a setup. I’ve learned what it takes to grow fresh, healthy food in everyday spaces, and now I pass that knowledge along, simply and practically.

There’s no fluff here—just tools, tips, and hands-on guidance from someone who’s been through it all and still loves every bit of it.
